MoU signing ceremony with Sahara Accelerator

FTCC and Sahara Accelerator join forces to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship in Tanzania.

Among its goals and as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, the FTCC intends to support innovation and entrepreneurship. The FTCC also aims at bringing new perspectives to its members, by enabling them to meet startups, enabling innovation and investment diversificiation. It also wants to enable its members to share their expertise to young entrepreneurs through a mentoring program.

Therefore, the FTCC identified Sahara Accelerator as the partner to support reaching this objective.

Sahara Accelerator is a startup accelerator that supports early-stage startups across Tanzania. Their core business is to provide a comprehensive range of services that help startups grow and succeed, including mentorship, training, networking opportunities, access to funding, and workspace. Sahara Accelerator activities involve working closely with startups to refine their business models, develop their products, and build their customer base. Sahara Accelerator also helps connect startups with investors and other stakeholders to facilitate their growth and expansion. The ultimate goal is to create a thriving startup ecosystem in Africa and support the region's economic development.

A Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between FTCC and Sahara Accelerator.
