Event Report | ESG Committee – Social
The FTCC ESG Committee held its last session of the year on 30 September 2026 at The Peninsula Club in Dar es Salaam, in collaboration with HSD.
Following a first edition focused on Environment, this session turned to the Social pillar and to a central question: how can businesses translate social commitments into concrete action?
The afternoon was built as an open dialogue rather than a series of presentations. The session opened with a team exercise in which participants shared the challenges they face in their companies and the solutions they have found. The speakers then answered members' questions on human rights due diligence, social risks across supply chains, gender equality in the workplace, the integration of the SDGs for SMEs, and the role of leadership.
