ESG Committee - Kick off

Join the FTCC ESG Committee Kick-Off on 30 September, shape the agenda, share insights, and drive sustainable business in Tanzania.

In response to growing interest from its members and partners, the French-Tanzanian Chamber of Commerce (FTCC) is launching a dedicated ESG Committee aimed at promoting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices within the Tanzanian private sector.

As global standards evolve and sustainability becomes a core business imperative, the ESG Committee will provide a structured platform for knowledge exchange, peer learning, and practical training. It will also serve as a space to highlight member initiatives and reward impact through the annual FTCC ESG Trophy.

Bringing together companies of all sizes and sectors, the committee seeks to foster collective progress around responsible governance, climate-smart operations, and inclusive workplace practices, aligned with both local realities and international frameworks.

The Kick-Off Meeting marks the first step in this long-term initiative.
