The summit aimed to bring together global leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to make 2024 a pivotal year for advancing clean cooking solutions across Africa. This was crucial as nearly four in five Africans still rely on polluting fuels like wood, charcoal, and kerosene for cooking, leading to severe health, environmental, and social impacts, particularly affecting women and children.
President Samia Suluhu Hassan's visit underscores the strong partnership between France and Tanzania in promoting sustainable development.
