Scaling Impact: Finance and Investment for a Better World

Our member Dalberg is pleased to invite to a book launch event for their latest book: Scaling Impact: Finance and Investment for a Better World (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023). The book compiles Dalberg’s experience over the past 20 years and identifies six key paradigm shifts that will be critical in meeting our 2030 SDG targets. During their book launch event, they will dig deeper into two paradigm shifts concerning private capital: 1) “Transition from Venture Capital to Patient Capital”, which focuses on how to evaluate investment opportunities in emerging markets, and 2) “Seek financial health, not financial access”, which focuses on how to serve consumers in the financial sector. You will also have an opportunity to interact with the author Kusi Hornberger who also leads Dalberg’s Finance and Investment Practice globally, and is based in Washington, D.C.
