Event Report | Startups Za Viwango - Peer Learning & Founder Forum
On 20 August 2026, the FTCC organised a Peer Learning & Founder Forum in Dar es Salaam, in collaboration with YAS Tanzania.
Held at Hotel Onomo, the event brought together the Startup za Viwango cohort and incubator partners Anza and Ennovate Ventures. The session opened with a Founder Forum: an open, moderated discussion with Fleuri Adon who shared his experience building and scaling a company across East Africa, covering market entry, fundraising, team building, and lessons learned along the way.
The event continued with Expert Tables, giving participating startups the opportunity to engage directly with specialists in marketing at scale and financial structuring in small-group sessions.
The forum forms part of the ongoing Startup za Viwango programme, which supports Tanzanian startups through masterclasses, mentorship, and peer learning opportunities.
