The FTCC hosted its inaugural Gala Dinner, uniting 120+ leaders to celebrate and strengthen Franco-Tanzanian economic and diplomatic relations.
On Friday, October 3rd, 2025, the French-Tanzanian Chamber of Commerce hosted the inaugura edition of the FTCC Gala Dinner at the Peninsula Club in Dar es Salaam. This landmark event brought together 120 distinguished guests, including H.E. the Ambassador of France to Tanzania, senior representatives from diplomatic missions, as well as CEOs, executives, and members of the French-Tanzanian business community.
Since its founding in 2020, the FTCC has grown into a key player in bilateral economic cooperation. The Gala Dinner marked a major step in this journey: a high-level gathering designed to foster strategic connections in a setting that reflected both professionalism and elegance. Hosted in the private gardens of one of Dar es Salaam’s most exclusive venues, the evening was an opportunity to celebrate the growing ties between France and Tanzania through business, culture, and shared values.
Guests were welcomed with a cocktail reception and live saxophone and pianist, followed by a French-inspired three-course dinner with curated wine pairings. The programme also included briefs remarks from our sponsors Mobikey, NMB, and YAS, and a DJ set that continued late into the night. Informal networking throughout the evening allowed participants to connect across sectors in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere.
