Event Report | EU–Tanzania Investment Road Shows 2026: private sector briefing held in Dar es Salaam
On 18 August 2026, Tanzania's Department of Economic Diplomacy (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation) briefed the private sector at JNICC on the EU–Tanzania Thematic Investment Road Shows, running 28 September–6 October 2026 in Helsinki, Cesena and The Hague/Antwerp.
The Road Shows are the first phase of the second EU–Tanzania Investment and Business Forum, part of the EU's Global Gateway strategy, closing with a high-level Forum in Dar es Salaam in early 2027. Participation is open to Tanzanian companies via the EU event platform, combining plenaries and pitch sessions with pre-scheduled B2B matchmaking. There is no participation fee, though travel and accommodation are self-funded.
The EU Delegation has also launched a Call for Project Proposals for the Investment Wall, open to mature, bankable projects in agriculture, digital & fintech, critical minerals, renewable energy, or transport & logistics. Deadline: 1 September 2026.
