On the evening of April 24, the Lycée Français of Tanzania hosted a Career Exploration Event, giving students the opportunity to connect with professionals from a variety of sectors.
The evening kicked off with one-on-one meetings between students and professionals. Students were free to move from table to table, speaking with professionals from various fields of their interest.
At the same time, roundtable discussions were held on two key topics:
Has gender equality in the workplace been achieved, or is it still an ongoing struggle?
How can typical careers be the key to adapting in a rapidly changing world?
The roundtables brought together 4 to 5 speakers, introducing the topic with a 10-minute discussion, followed by a Q&A session where the audience could engage with the panelists. These exchanges helped deepen the understanding of the subjects discussed. Both sessions were recorded and will soon be available as part of a podcast series.
The event concluded with an informal networking session over snacks and drinks, offering students and professionals the opportunity to continue their conversations in a relaxed setting.
We sincerely thank our members who participated in the event. Your willingness to share your time and expertise made a real impact and contributed to inspiring the next generation as they plan their future careers.
