Event report | Career evening 2026

On January 22, the International French School of Tanzania organised a Career Evening together with the FTCC.

This event aimed to help students gain a better understanding of professional life through direct exchanges with our members.

Throughout the evening, professionals took the time to present their businesses, institutions, and companies, sharing their personal career journeys with the students. These discussions allowed participants to explain the realities of their daily work, the paths that led them to their current roles, and the skills required to succeed in their fields.

Students actively engaged with the speakers, asking thoughtful questions such as “What has been your career path so far?” and “What do you like most about your profession?” The diversity of answers reflected the variety of career paths represented and helped students better visualize their own future professional opportunities.

The discussions were interactive, speakers also showed interest in the students’ ambitions and perspectives. During these conversations, many students expressed curiosity about the FTCC and the world of business and trade between France and Tanzania, highlighting a strong interest in future projects and professional engagement.

This Career Evening provided a valuable platform for dialogue, inspiration, and knowledge-sharing, reinforcing the FTCC’s commitment to supporting youth in their career orientation and strengthening connections between education and the professional world
