Back to Work Afterwork: Official launch of the FTCC season, marked by new memberships and an MoU supporting innovation in Tanzania.

The French-Tanzanian Chamber of Commerce (FTCC) officially launched its end-of-year business season with a vibrant “Back to Work Afterwork” held at Hotel Slipway. The event brought together over 80 participantsfrom across the French-Tanzanian business community, including company executives, partners, and institutional stakeholders.
The evening was opened by H.E. Anne-Sophie Avé, Ambassador of France to Tanzania, alongside Christophe Darmois, Chairman of the FTCC. Both speakers emphasized the importance of continued collaboration, innovation, and community engagement as the Chamber enters a new chapter of activities.
Throughout the evening, participants enjoyed quality networking in a relaxed and elegant setting. Highlights of the programme included:
The official introduction of new FTCC members: Ennovate Ventures, NBC, EALS, ITM, and Mr. Jérôme Bétat
The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the FTCC and Ennovate Ventures, a step towards strengthening support for innovation and entrepreneurship in Tanzania
A festive atmosphere enhanced by our event partners: Hotel Slipway, Red’n White (offering Calvet Wines), and Johari Gin
This event also served as a prelude to the FTCC Gala Dinner, scheduled for Friday, 3 October, at the Peninsula Club. The evening promises to be a celebration of elegance, French gastronomy, and Franco-Tanzanian cultural ties.
